How to get started as a travel nursing LPNIt is interesting to note that as a profession, travel nursing became popular around the nineteen eighties, thanks to an increased demand for nurses. Thus was born the idea of travel nurses being delegated to different locations where there was a shortage of staff. This was done based on requirement, at different times of the year. Invariably the most common reasons would be when some nurses went on maternity leave, took a holiday or had to attend training courses. The situation continues to be one where there are fewer nurses than there are positions making it the career of choice for those who enjoy the opportunity to travel combined with work. |
